Stacy McAlister Jr., a native of Compton, CA, earned his degree in Business Management from Claflin University in 2012, a premier HBCU located in Orangeburg, SC, where he also played Division II basketball. After graduating, Stacy embarked on an international basketball career, playing in England and Brunei. During his final stint in Brunei, he founded 5-Eleven Hoops.

Over the past eight years, 5-Eleven Hoops has grown to serve over 1,000 kids through its weekly classes, collaborative camps, and partnerships with outside service providers and schools. Stacy is focused on expanding 5-Eleven Hoops with the vision of building a sports therapeutic center to house all the organization’s programs along with other supportive therapies
